Tuesday Mix

Enzo in front of potted flowers

Anacortes weather is mixed today. A little sun, some clouds and maybe some rain. Enzo is taking advantage of the sun when he can and then hides under his blankets when it is gone.

Grrrr

Enzo walking toward the camera on grass

In perfect Monday morning form, Enzo is grumping around the property today. In addition to the shock of Karma leaving the house without him, I have been on the phone all morning. Second only to Heavy Metal music, my talking on the phone is Enzo’s least favorite sound and he is letting me know today. I may have to give him some extra kibbles to chear him up.

Break Time

Enzo thought we should take a quick break from our to do list and enjoy the spring blooms in our yard and chase a few birds. It sure is a nice day out there! Have a great weekend everyone.

Computer Problems

Enzo in the sunshine and yawning

Karma had requested a video of Enzo this morning and we were working hard on getting that done, but I am having some major computer problems and it is not going to happen today. If it was not for Enzo’s insistence that I keep a cool head, the computer would be sitting in the lawn right now! Here is a shot from the video we may get posted soon. The weekend can not get here soon enough.

Post Morning Nap, Nap

Enzo laying on a brown blanket

Poor Enzo! He is exhausted today and is working on his second long nap of the day. With all the good weather this week we have spent much of the days outside running around and chasing things. He could not even muster the strength to lift his head for the picture today. At least he opened his eyes for a moment.

Desperately Seeking Attention

Our pack is going through a busy time right now and our little Enzo is not getting the constant attention he is used to. He thought that if he dressed up like a teddy bear he would be cuter and we would give him more attention. As you can see he is pretty darned cute! It does not get our work done any faster to make room for play, but it sure did make us stop and give him some extra pats.

Things That Fly

Sun peeking through the tree canopy over an italian greyhound

There has not been much squirrel activity in the yard this morning, but Enzo has been keeping a keen eye on the birds in the trees. He can’t seem to jump high enough to catch them, but keeps practicing.  Inside the house there is a fly that is driving him crazy. It is evading him also. Now he is frustratingly laying at my feet until I have time to break away from the computer and help him catch it.
