Enzo’s stomach clock if off this morning and he is sure that it has been lunch time for the last hour and a half. He is driving me crazy trying to let me know that it is my clock which is not in sync, but I was able to lure him out into the yard with a treat so I could take this picture. He sure looks good with the color purple.
The Sweet Potato Kid
Enzo and I were going through his papers yesterday and took some time to research his lineage. We were able to go online and trace his roots back to the times of the wild west. It turns out his distant relative was none other than the famous Italian Greyhound, known far and wide as a foe of all squirrels, the Sweet Potato Kid!
Luigi Greets
We love Luigi’s videos and this one is extra special!
Rock Wall
Last night Karma was out of town for work, so Enzo and I sat down for my usual guilty pleasure when Karma is away and we watched a rockumentary. That pretty much annoyed Enzo to no end. A bunch of self congratulatory old guys playing music that is too loud is not his thing at all. He was in a foul mood the rest of the night and into this morning. When it was time for a walk this morning, I decided that he would get to choose the route in order to cheer him up. We ended up by this awesome rock wall and he was pretty excited because he had heard that the family who are buying the house are real friends of the animals. +1 for the neighborhood!
Rainy Days are for Sleeping
It seems like this is the first good rain we have had in a while and Enzo is taking advantage of it. Lots of napping, a little snacking and some pats. That is his plan for the rest of the day.
Business End Close Up
These paws are Enzo’s tools, but they can get sharp! Trust me, you don’t want to get in the way of these bad boys.
Last Minute
Oops! I just realized what time it was and had to run and find Enzo so I could get a picture out in time this morning. He was on the back porch taking in the world.
A Better Kind of Monday
This morning we had some extra time after our walk and took a cup of coffee out on the porch. Enzo got some lap time in the morning sun. He thought that was a much better way to start the week then the usual rushing around to get ready in time.
It Could Have Been Chilly
We had a potential disaster this morning when I discovered our dryer would not start. This would not have been a big deal for normal dogs, but Enzo loves a warm blanket after his bath and he was very agitated knowing that he was due for a bath soon and there might not be a warm blanket to dry off in. Thankfully the repair man was able to get here quickly and all is well. Enzo was so excited that he wanted his picture taken on the dryer today to show his appreciation to all involved.
Fly Catching
Poor Enzo is bored out of his mind today. I am too busy with work to give him the 100% attention he wants, so he has been napping and wandering around the porch looking for flies. He caught two yesterday which impressed me just as much as seeing Mr. Miyagi catch one with chop sticks in the Karate Kid movie when I was young.
