Something’s Wrong

Karma left yesterday for an out of town meeting and poor Enzo is not sure what is wrong. He stayed up until early in the morning waiting for her and has been out in the cold waiting to ambush the squirrels who he thinks may have something to do with her disappearance.

Happy National Napping Day

Enzo wanted to wish everyone a Happy Napping Day! It was the focus of our meeting today and he used it to outline his schedule for the day. Now, before any of you astute people write me with corrections, I do know that the holiday was actually yesterday. The problem is that Enzo was much to busy to sit for the picture yesterday because, wait for it………, he was napping!

Cherry Blossoms

Last evening was a lot of fun for us. Now that we have an extra hour of daylight, we thought it would be fun to take Enzo to the dog park and let him socialize and run, run, run. He had a ball and met some new dog friends, but was hoping that he might get to see his good buddies Rocco and Musso again.  On our way back home we noticed the cherry trees are blossoming and that is a great sign that spring is near!

Monday Dreams

Ugh! Neither Enzo nor I had much interest in taking pictures this Monday morning. He did not want to get out of bed at all this morning. We both felt like we should pull up anchor and drift away before the week got started. That led us to get this picture which I think turned out pretty out good. I guess we are back on track and ready for a great week!

PSA from Enzo

Enzo wants to remind you that Daylight Savings Time starts this weekend. He thinks this is very important because it will give him more light in the evening for walks and playing in the yard.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Banana

I had a banana set out to eat with lunch and Enzo was very interested in it. He aggreed to have his picture taken with it in exchange for a portion of it going into his lunch. Seems like a good deal to me!

A New Plan

Enzo at whiteboard with an action plan and map of yard

After two weeks of no Wednesday meeting, today was all business. Enzo has been furiously trying to rid the yard of squirrels, but has not been able to catch any yet. He is convinced that his lack of success is mainly due to my not being able to open the doors fast enough when he sees them through the window. The new plan called for installing fast opening remote controlled doors under every window and clearing the hunting path of any thing that could get in his way. Enzo tried to make it seem that there was more to his plan than the new doors, but the conversation always came back to them. Between you and me, I enjoy having a few squirrels romp around the yard from time to time. There is no way I am going to spend money on new doors.

Monday Sunshine

Enzo had a good weekend, but cut a knuckle on his foot while hunting squirrels which made me panic. He is fine and much tougher than I thought. This morning he relaxing in the sun and keeping an eye on the yard.
