Looking for Trouble

Enzo standing up to get a better view of the squirrel in a tree

Enzo has been listening to the news about the Skagit bridge collapse with me and thought that if he could just look over the fence he might be able to see it from our house. Not even close, but maybe we can drive down there later and join the other looky-loos.

Curious Enzo

Enzo has been having a ball exploring the yard today and checking out all the little bugs he can find. I like to imagine that if he were a human he would have chosen to be a scientist. Well, maybe a mad scientist who sleeps a lot and runs around the lab like a Tasmanian devil.

The Pampered Life

Yesterday I saw Enzo getting ready for a meeting today, but we unexpectedly took him to see our Uncle Vic in Seattle which foiled his plans. He and Vic are BFF’s as you can see in the picture, so he completely forgot about the meeting and just enjoyed the evening full of extra attention.

Mr. Sleepy Bones

Enzo curled up on the couch

This morning I asked Enzo if he could help me out in the yard. His beef bones need to be picked up and put in the trash so I can mow the lawn tonight and that seemed like an easy task for him. So far he is much too sleepy to help and I know that if I start shouting “Squirrel, Squirrel” to wake him up, he will just run around distracted for the next hour.

Missed a Day

I have to apologize for not getting a picture sent out yesterday. I was out working out of town in the morning and instead of getting back to the computer right away we decided to take off for a nice long walk since the weather was so nice. Enzo was dissapointed that we did not send out a picture, but was happy to pose for this picture that we will end the week with.

Tuesday Mix

Anacortes weather is mixed today. A little sun, some clouds and maybe some rain. Enzo is taking advantage of the sun when he can and then hides under his blankets when it is gone.

Grrrr

In perfect Monday morning form, Enzo is grumping around the property today. In addition to the shock of Karma leaving the house without him, I have been on the phone all morning. Second only to Heavy Metal music, my talking on the phone is Enzo’s least favorite sound and he is letting me know today. I may have to give him some extra kibbles to chear him up.

Break Time

Enzo thought we should take a quick break from our to do list and enjoy the spring blooms in our yard and chase a few birds. It sure is a nice day out there! Have a great weekend everyone.
