Here is a photo of Enzo with his new pal Parker that was taken by Parker’s owner, Vito Domeno.
Return of the Sweet Potato Kid
We were able to invite the Sweet Potato Kid in for dinner last night as he rode through town ropin’ the squirrels. What a brave dog he is!
Sneak Attack
Enzo went to another Italian Greyhound meet-up this last Sunday and is too tired to get out of bed for me to take pictures of him. He wanted to make a new stunt video and met a pup named Parker who was willing to co-star in it. Here is a still from the video where Parker snuck up on Enzo while he was posing for the camera.
The Truth
I was talking to a customer via Skype this morning and he asked me how things were going. My answer was, “Great! Things could not be better.” Then, I looked over at Enzo and he was making this face. I had to grab my camera, because his face expresses exactly how I feel after this week.
Waiting for the Mail
Enzo has been excited all morning and going from window to window looking for the Mail Carrier to arrive. As you probably know, today is National Dog Day and Enzo is expecting some cards from his pals. I told him that I was not sure it was that kind of a holiday, but he was pretty confident that it was.
Showing Fangs
Enzo likes to give the squirrels a quick warning bark and show them his fangs so they know he means business. What a tough little iggy he is!
Those Fast Italians
The squirrels are back and Enzo is on alert, sitting in his chair with a keen eye on the back yard. Five minutes after I took this picture he bolted out the door going at least 25 miles per hour and then slammed into a tree while he was focused on a squirrel. He hurt his paw again, but walked it off and is fine now. There is no maybe with this dog, only run as fast as possible to get what he wants.
Orcas Adventure
Yesterday my sister Carol and niece Beka joined us for a adventure on Orcas Island. It was a fine day and of course, Enzo was very popular everywhere we went. He was patient with all the curious kids and even behaved well on the ferry. His favorite times were when were able to walk some of the trails. Here he is checking things out near Hidden Falls.
Weekend Update
Oh boy! Enzo is moving a little slower than normal this morning. Saturday we took a long walk downtown and he was so worn out I had to carry him the last two blocks home. Yesterday he went to the iggy meet up in Stanwood and had a great time. His foster mom Sheila was there with Rocco and Musso, so he worked extra hard showing off his tricks. Here is a picture of him playing with his new iggy friend Picasso. Picasso is one tough little dude.
Looking for Adventure
Enzo has pretty much kept the squirrels under control this summer and he is looking for some new grand adventure to sink his teeth into. This morning he went crazy when a lady stopped to pick a piece of green fruit off of the tree that hangs over our sidewalk. Don’t mess with Enzo’s food people!
