Enzo was so pleased with how well he ran the meeting last Friday that he has decided we are going to have them every week. If you saw yesterday’s post you will know that Enzo was upset with me and he brought it up again today. What a baby!
Heavy Metal
I like to listen to the radio when I am working and Enzo is usually a good sport about it. Being the sensitive creature he is, opera arias are his favorite. On rare occasions like this morning, I enjoy listening to heavy metal style music and he hates it! This morning he tried hiding in his crate on the other side of the house to block it all out.
The Blanket Den
It’s Monday again and Enzo is having a hard time coping with the hard realities of getting on with the week. He was holed up in a blanket den this morning and I had to peel back the layers to get this shot.
Meeting
Enzo heard that people were getting together for a meeting this morning. He got all set up and was waiting for them to arrive when I told him that the meeting was in Seattle. Of course, he was very disappointed so I had to sit through an extremely long and boring meeting with him all by myself.
New Scarf
Yesterday, Karma came home with a beautiful hand knit scarf that her friend made for her. Enzo took an instant liking to it and tried to claim it as his own. A small disagreement erupted and I decided they would have to share it. Here Enzo is modeling it during his turn.
Driving
Inspired by the recent video of dogs being taught to drive, I thought I would start training Enzo this morning. Big mistake! He may be a runner and a lover, but the idea of him doing the driving is a no-go.
Sidelined
Normally Enzo would be racing around the yard in his bright red racing coat, but today the cold wind is making him sit it out and shiver. Luckily, he stayed out just long enough for this quick snapshot.
Monday Blues
This is what Monday mornings look like around here. Enzo realizes his favorite person is gone for the whole day, it’s raining outside and there is no chicken in the fridge. Tragic!
Inflation
For the most part Enzo, like all other Italian Greyhounds, is oblivious to the world outside of his normal living zone. He could not care less what is trending on TMZ or the Huffington Post. The one thing he does take very seriously is chicken! As within any pack, we have to make sure that everyone gets fed and staying on budget each week is tough. This morning we were looking at the chicken futures and saw that they were up again to 97.50. I could tell that Enzo was thinking we should start keeping a larger stock in the house to protect ourselves from rising prices, but I wonder if he could really be trusted with a large cache of chicken?
E is for Effort
Things started out ambitiously this morning. I had planned on an action shot of Enzo running and playing in the grass outside. Of course, the weather is not ideal for an Italian Greyhound and one step outside the door a rain drop fell on his nose and back inside he went. There was not even time to get my lens cap off the camera. This is where he was when I finally caught up with him.
